EL Piper

El Piper, previously known as Percy L. Harris, is a veteran, educator, and author with a deep passion for truth and identity. He served in the United States Navy on nuclear submarines and later built a wide-ranging career in business, education, and finance. He has worked as an engineer, instructor, project manager, stockbroker, and more. He holds a Master of Business Administration and earned Financial Services Certifications while living and studying in London, England.

In 1995, he founded Americans With African Roots Empowered Incorporated. His mission has always been to help others rediscover their history and reconnect with their spiritual roots. El Piper believes that many African Americans have been separated from their true story and calling. His work aims to heal that gap by sharing what was lost or hidden over time.

He received a strong spiritual calling to write “Americans with African Roots Empowered (A’WA’RE™).” The book results from years of study, travel, reflection, and prayer. El Piper sees himself as a messenger, chosen to guide others back to truth and purpose. Today, he is retired and entirely focused on sharing his message. Through his writing and speaking, he continues to uplift and inspire those searching for meaning and belonging.
